XPLANE’s VTS: The Visual Alphabet

Last Thursday, 2/3/11, XPLANE held another monthly Visual Thing School (VTS). This one focused on the visual alphabet and speed drawing, once again led by Tim May, who came complete with Danish impersonations. The session started off with him showing how all basic shapes, the alphabet, and expressions can all be made with just a few simple strokes. With this visual vocabulary, the group then had several rounds of speed drawing, depicting different objects and emotions that are often used in XPLANE’s discovery sessions with clients (which I’ve had the pleasure of participating in a few times).

A full write up (with better photos) can be found on the XPLANE blog by Graham Barey.
